Guidelines

To be eligible to participate the exhibitor must be a member of the Ohio Hackney Association and the pony shown must be a registered hackney pony. Every time this Pony is shown during the 2009 show season in the state of Ohio you will accumulate points. At the end of the year all points will be tallied and the pony with the most points will be the Ohio Hackney Association High Point Award recipient for that division. There will be 5 high point awards given, one in each of the following Divisions: Hackney Road Pony----Hackney Cobtail----Hackney Harness Pony----Hackney Pleasure Pony---- Hackney Country Pleasure Pony.

Point System

Each Ohio Hackney Association member will be required to keep track of their own placing on a form that will be provided. All placing must be verified and signed by the show secretary of that particular show. All forms that are not signed by the show secretary will not count. All forms must be postmarked no later then 30 days after the last day of that particular show. Points will accumulate with the following values:

First Place       6 Points                                                                 Second Place   5 Points                                                                 Third Place     4 Points                                                                 Fourth Place    3 Points                                                                 Fifth Place      2 Points                                                                 Participation  1 Point

Award Banquet

Awards will be presented at the annual dinner and meeting of the Ohio Hackney Association.  Dates, Time and Location will be Announced later.
